Dr. Milenković is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He received his Ph.D., M.S., and Dipl. Ing. degrees from the University of Belgrade, Serbia in 1999, 1997, and 1994, respectively.
Professor Milenković's research interests span the areas of computer architecture, embedded systems and wireless sensor networks, and VLSI design. His goal is to develop hardware and software techniques that will allow computers execute programs faster and safer at minimal design and operating costs. In particular his research focuses on novel architectures for ensuring code and data integrity and confidentiality (a.k.a., secure processors), architectures for increased programmers' productivity and debuggability, memory hierarchy optimizations, and reconfigurable computing. He is also interested in developing new applications and systems for ubiquitous personal health monitoring. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed journal and conference articles and holds one U.S. patent. Previously he has held academic positions at the Dublin City University in Dublin, Ireland (2000-2001) and the School of Electrical Engineering, the University of Belgrade (1994 - 2000).

Dr. Emil Jovanov

Dr. Jovanov is Associate Dean for Graduate Education and Research College of Engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He has been working on application specific hardware, software, and systems for more than 25 years. His area of interest include real-time and embedded systems, physiological monitoring and biomedical signal processing. Dr. Jovanov is recognized as the originator of the concept of wireless body area networks for health monitoring and he is one of the leaders in the field of wearable health monitoring. Dr. Jovanov is a Senior Member of IEEE, Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Information Technology in Biomedicine, and IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems, and a member of Editorial Board of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback. He was Guest Editor of two special issues of IEEE TITB: "Body Sensor Networks: From Theory to Emerging Applications" and "mHealth Emerging Mobile Technologies for Health Applications." Dr. Jovanov is a member of EMBS Technical Committee on Wearable Biomedical Sensors and Systems, Corresponding Member of the IEEE Medical Technology Policy Committee (MTPC), and served in Academic and Medical Advisory boards of several startups.

Dr. Mladen Milosevic

Dr. Milosevic received his Dipl. Ing. Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Belgrade in Serbia and his Ph.D. from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Alabama in Huntsville working in the field of wearable health monitoring. His areas of expertise include ubiquitous health monitoring, smartphone application development, software development, and physiological signal processing
